An in-home cabinet consultation flips that around. The showroom comes to you, and the decisions happen in the room you’re actually remodeling.
Here’s what our consultations look like, and how to get the most out of yours.
Before the visit
Your consultation is free. It starts with a short questionnaire or a phone call. We ask what kind of project you’re planning, when you’d like to start, and a rough budget if you’re comfortable sharing it. That helps us bring the right samples and make the most of the visit.
A little preparation goes a long way:
- Have everyone who’s deciding there. If a spouse or partner will weigh in on colors or layout, plan the visit for a time when you can both be home.
- Know what’s staying. Are you keeping your countertops, flooring or appliances? It changes the design and the quote.
- Gather appliance details. Model numbers or sizes for your range, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave help us plan exact openings.
- Save a few photos you love. Screenshots from Pinterest, Instagram or a friend’s kitchen are perfect. Photos of what you don’t like help too.
- Clear the space. We’ll need access to walls, corners and the floor to measure accurately.
During the visit
Our showroom van parks at your door with cabinet door samples, countertop samples and hardware on board. You can carry samples inside and see cabinet and countertop samples together next to your floors, walls, windows and furniture, which is the only way to know how a color really looks in your light.
While you compare options, we measure the space, talk through how you use your kitchen, and sketch a layout. Then we put together your quote, all in the same appointment. Instead of waiting weeks for a second visit, you leave with a design and a price.
After the visit
When you’re ready to move forward, a deposit secures your order. Your cabinets are delivered to your home, usually in two to four weeks, and we check every box against your order with you.
